Cock Lane will be closed between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 on 8th May 2024, the closure will be between its junction with Bishops Road and its junction with Southend Road.

An alternative route is via Southend Road, Hungerford Lane, Stanford Road (Cock Lane) and vice versa.

The purpose of this closure is to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution (SSEPD) safe access to work on overhead cables.

Residential access will be maintained throughout, and the diversion will be signed on site.

Please note blue light access will be permitted.
